A noun is the name of a person, place or thing. We will focus on selecting the right noun from the word bank of nouns on piclits.com. This will give us great practice in choosing nouns that are electric and those that merely sputter.

MODEL SENTENCE:
A rolling stone gathers no moss.

INCORRECT AND CORRECT:
Incorrect: The bull’s horn gored (noun) the careless matador (noun).
Correct: The bull’s horn (noun) gored the careless matador (noun).
